In all seriousness. Mr. Depp most likely has quite a few watches. His Cartier is just a tribute to the country he lives in "France". There are worst things then being a Francophile.

 Francophile: is an individual who has a strong positive predisposition or interest toward the government, culture, history, or people of France.

I've been on break.

I want to thank you all for the many emails and messages that I received inquiring about my absence.

I intend on returning.

I am just beginning a new journey.

What I Know.

I still love watches but I have to focus on the people in this world I love as well.

TIME WITH THE PEOPLE I LOVE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN OBJECTS THAT MEASURE IT.

Rolex "Corporate Warrior"

Or Ref. 18038 a.k.a the single quick-set Rolex Day-Date (The President). There is something about a vintage Rolex President. Most reader's know I have a special affinity for the ref. 180X. In my mind Pie-Pan dials with acrylic crystals is as good as vintage Rolex watches get. Today, however, I am wearing a 18038 Sapphire Crystal 8.3 million serial "Corporate Warrior". The bracelet has stretch and the dial has Sun Damage, I mean is a bit tropical---yet I don't care. I am perfectly happy wearing a watch that I can imagine was purchased to make a statement. What statement... "I'm the Boss", "I am Successful", "I am a Used Care Salesman-God!" The truth is... chances are if you bought a Rolex President in the 80s it wasn't for the horological beauty. It was because you were or you wanted badly to be a "Corporate Warrior"
 

Just got back from a great GTG!!!

Just got back from a wonderful GTG. There were Rolex and Rolex. There were Pateks and more Pateks!!! Best of all there were tons of passionate people.
