Rolex 18389
This is easily one of the most unusual configurations I have ever seen. First thing first, don't dismiss this Tridor Rolex President as a fake just yet. It is common knowledge that Rolex has only made Day-Dates or "Presidents" in the following metals : yellow, red (rose), white gold & platinum. Well, rolex also made the piece in a "Tri"metal version. That's right this piece uses all three variants of gold (red,yellow,white). These Tridor's are now discontinued and had about a 20 year limited run. The truth is they were not very popular, however, collector's have seen in the past what happens to the unpopular models (1655,6238 etc.) They skyrocket in value! This particular Day-date features a diamond bezel as well as a Vignette dial. The Vignette dials are also one of Rolex's more avaunt-garde variants. In my opinion this piece below is investment grade. A Tridor watch is excellent condition can be had for as little as $12,000.
