It's Bay Watch Tuesday!!

It's That time of week again!
I have two really amazing pieces for you to check out!

Seriously guys...

This piece looks as if it were pulled fright from Grandpa's sock drawer it even has a Spiedel watch band to prove it. Now, I've expressed my hatred for Spiedel bracelets before but the fact is, this Patek is beautiful. While it does have an engraving on the back. This can be corrected or worn by the new owner without hesitance.

Seller's Description:
Vintage 1940s patek philippe rear back cover has this information depose patek philippe geneve swiss 0.750, 900782 or 900762 and then a number that reads 626250. as you can see the band is not original but it fits the watch nicely.
"Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, Ref. 1413, 1940's. Very fine, 18ct gold gentleman's wristwatch. C. massive, polished, teardrop lugs. D. with applied gold indexes and Arabic numerals + auxiliary seconds dial. "Bâton" gold hands. M. 10"'-105 rhodiumed, "fausses côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 29 mm. this watch should be Sent to PP Geneva, have it serviced and get an extract from the archives. This piece is intended to be a family heir."

Second on my Ebay watch list is: A Mint & Awesome

This is one of my favorite offerings. It has a beautiful Tobacco colored dial. This piece is no longer available and the price of this piece is modest in comparison with new pieces and other Pam 118s.
Seller Description:
Auction is for an absolutely pristine example of the long since discontinued PAM 118E titanium Luminor Marina with brown "tobacco" dial. I recently acquired a few select pieces from private collections wherein the original owners did not keep the boxes/papers/accessories. These watches were sitting in safes and/or display cases for years and as with this one, the lubricants had settled. So, I just had this piece fully serviced by CD Peacock's in-house Panerai-certified watchmaker (the only one of his kind in the MidWest, and he's an absolute perfectionist). The case on this piece has never been fully polished (no need for it) and has just had a few minor blemishes touched up. So, the case and lug edges are factory-sharp and crisp. Screws in both the lugs and buckle are original and perfect. Strap is the original E-series gator with "Made in Austria" stamped horizontally. This is a true safe queen; an absolutely beautiful time-capsule piece in nearly new old stock condition. Again, NO BOX OR PAPERS. 100% guaranteed original and authentic. Paypal is accepted, but I prefer payment by bank wire or face-to-face cash transaction in the Chicago area. USA bidders/USA transactions only.
