So, the Rolex Milgauss (Green Crystal Variant) did not become the rarest or most collected Rolex ever, but did give a lot of collector's a thrill. I remember the hype behind this piece was like no other. I was on the waiting list at multiple dealers and did end up with one of the first available in the United States. It's strange how such a highly speculative collectable piece is now readily available. The Milgauss hoopla taught me a valuable lesson in terms of collecting to "Buy what you like, because you like it and not to buy a piece because it is liked".
