Don't fear the bark. It won't bite!

Please do not move the cursor! This Rolex is not diseased, it simply features a bark finish. The term bark, may breed a bit of confusion. It simply refers to the finish applied to the center links and bezel. These beautiful bark finish Rolex watches are some of the most under appreciated Day-Dates available. Pictured above is a beautiful example of a non-quick set Rolex model 1807. Please note the "7" denotes  the bark finish. The more popular 1803 model is still preferred by many, however, to many collector's, what is preferred by the masses is not necessarily appealing. One sees 1803's, 18038's (single quick-set models) in abundant supply. I myself, have noticed a shortage of available examples. If one were to look, they would find many Rolex model 1807s available but few that feature the original bark finish and fewer with a bracelet. In short 1807 qualifies as a future super-collectable model. What are the qualifications, you may ask?

1. Not extraordinarily popular initially.
2. Available at huge discounts!
3. DISCONTINUED.

In short, get them while you can!
