Variations Explorerd In Explorer II 36mm White Dials.

So, It seems everyone is interested in the new Rolex 42mm Explorer II introduced by Rolex at Basel 2011. The buzz can be heard on virtually every Rolex related forum. However, there is a new "discovery", that may influence you to purchase the random serial classic Rolex Explorer II 36mm instead.  It has been discovered that the "newest 16570" white dial 36mm Rolex now have thinner black circle markers. This makes the watch, according to Rolex, brighter and easier to read. To collector's and loyalist it affects the classic asestetic design of the nicknamed "Polar Dial". It's interesting and obvious anomolies/short run or transitional models have always gained in collectability despite the initial reception by collector's and consumers. I personally  rather like the improvement. I may have to pic one up!
