Rolex serial number dating.

It is my experience that dating Rolex watches by the serial is not an exact system but can offer an estimated manufacture date. I have used many list in the past and have found this to be one of the more accurate. Please note that the serial is found in between the lugs at the "6" o'clock position. The model number can be found between the lugs at the "12" o'clock position.
